How the System Works

1. Wash Water Collection
Used water from the vehicle washing area is collected and directed to the treatment system.

2. Oil & Grease Separation
Oil, grease and other floating contaminants are separated from the wash water before further treatment.

3. Chemical Treatment
Coagulants and polymers can be added where required to help remove fine suspended solids, dirt and other contaminants.

4. Clarification
The treated water passes through a settling or flotation stage to separate the solids from the water.

5. Filtration
The clarified water is passed through suitable filtration units to further reduce suspended solids and improve water quality.

6. Disinfection & Reuse
Where required, disinfection is provided before the treated water is returned to the vehicle washing process.
